The Globe Theatre: The Bookplate of Oscar James Campbell, 1879-1970, Shakespearean scholar, Professor of English at Columbia University, where his papers are housed. The bookplate is in Shakespeare in the Eighteenth Century, by David Nichol Smith [ Oxford, 1928. ] Professor Campbell’s bookplate and signature are on the front endpaper, and dated Dec. 19, 1928.
